How eating alkaline rich foods can help reduce cellular inflammation and increase your productivity at work.

Inflammation, also known as oxidative stress, affects our bodies in two ways. One more commonly known way is the response our body has after an injury such as redness, swelling, heat or pain associated with a specific event or trauma. The second way is calledcellular inflammation which often goes unnoticed as it is typically asymptomatic.

Inflammation is what happens when your body does not have enough antioxidants to neutralize the free radicals and toxic elements within your body. Oxidative stress & chronic inflammation are some of the leading causes of disease and dysfunction in your body and can also be the cause of low energy, brain fog, joint pain and a range of other symptoms.

Green machine salad with a hint of red

Ingredients:  avocado, broccoli, celery, cucumber, garlic, ginger, green and red pepper, kale leaves, lemon, onion, spinach leaves. (You can add turmeric!)

Option: blend the avocado with diced garlic, ginger slices, lemon and a little water (you can add tumeric!) to make a dressing. Chop up the rest, mix everything, then enjoy!
